Get ready for the ride of your life.
I wonder if this film in anyway influenced Christopher Nolan and Inception.
wow are you dumb this came out in ‘06 and Inception was in 2010.
wow.
Wow, there is no reason to call me dumb. It’s a legit question brought up for the purpose of discussion and in admiration for Satoshi Kon and the film. No need to be so nasty. I really don’t appreciate you calling me a dumbass or a faggot (it’s unbelievable you think using that word as an insult is okay).
Wow.

Time - Hans Zimmer
Dear Mr. Zimmer,
You have created a masterpiece of music. No score before has moved me as Inception has, it took me to another world of fantasy, a place where dreams come true (quite literally). Your beautiful score captured the essence of the true cinematic experience, brought me back to my childhood and the love I had for movies. A score is not just a background filler, but it’s an entity that speaks for itself, it makes or breaks a film. You sir, reminded me of the respect have for composer and their uncanny ability to create something that sticks with you for eternity. Until the day I die, I will be humming this iconic tune, and every time I do I will think of your genius. You don’t just make music Mr. Zimmer, you make audible poetry. You create an experience unlike any other, my hopes and dreams are scored by your amazing music. You make me proud of cinema. Your music is an act of inception, with it’s power to inspire and transport me to unknown worlds filled with adventure where creativity runs rampant. Thank you Hans Zimmer, you’ve changed my life for the better.
“What is the most resilient parasite? Bacteria? A virus? An intestinal worm? An idea. Resilient… highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain it’s almost impossible to eradicate. An idea that is fully formed - fully understood - that sticks; right in there somewhere.”
OMG I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH.
I also love the scores he did on The Dark Knight, it’s freakin amazing.
THIS. Whenever I find myself wanting to hear a movie score again IT’S USUALLY ALWAYS MR. HANS ZIMMER WHO HAS DONE THE MUSIC. Most of the music on my IPod is soundtrack music (I mainly use it to create ‘writing soundtracks’, or music which fits the story I’m writing) and most of those soundtracks are from Mr. Hans Zimmer. How can someone make such awesome, beautiful music? I ALWAYS WONDER AND AM ALWAYS AMAZED.
With this song, ‘Time’, I feel a sense of completion, sadness, hope, wonder, foreboding, and many more at the same time. How is such a thing possible? With music, it is.
